What You Will Need
Ingredients
4 cups water
3 tbsp Worthy’s Gingersnap Apple Spread
3 tsp loose-leaf Earl Grey tea or 3 Earl Grey tea bags
2 cinnamon sticks
2–3 cloves
2 star anise
1 slice lemon or orange, for serving (optional)
Utensils
1 Large Saucepan
1 Set of Measuring Cups
1 Strainer
1 Teapot
Directions
Step 1: Add water, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and cloves to a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the spices.
Step 3: Add the Earl Grey tea, turn off the heat, and let steep for 3–5 minutes.
Step 4: Place a strainer over your teapot and carefully pour the mixture from the saucepan into the teapot.
Step 5: Add 3 heaping tablespoons of Worthy’s Gingersnap Apple Spread to the teapot and stir until dissolved.
Step 6: Allow the tea to cool slightly for about 3 minutes.
Step 7: Pour into cups and serve with a slice of lemon or orange, if desired.
